Training school on the scientific use of the Virtual Observatory Tools
IPAG, November 30 - December 2, 2011
The Virtual Observatory (VO) is opening up new ways of exploiting the huge amount of data provided by the ever-growing number of ground-based and space facilities, as well as by computer simulations. The goals of the school are to expose astronomers to the variety of VO tools and services available today so that they can use them efficiently for their own research. The school will last for 2.5 days, of which 2 full days will be devoted to tutorials on topics selected by the participants themselves.
Organizing committee : M. Allen (CDS), T. Boch (CDS), C. Bot (CDS), J. Bouvier (IPAG), V. Chopin (IPAG), G. Duvert (IPAG), P. Fernique (CDS)
